AGM 2016 / GV 2016 Point 9 Vote on the OSMF Local Chapter agreement / Punkt 9 Abstimmung über den OSMF Local Chapter Vertrag

As a reminder: we will be voting on signing the OSMF local chapter agreement http://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Local_Chapters/Template_agreement at the AGM. As mentioned before the OSMF has accepted our application and is ready to sign the agreement once we are ready. Given the limited amount of time we have at the meeting it would be preferable if you could read the agreement before hand and if possible pose any questions here in advance. Zur Erinnerung: an der GV werden wir über die Unterzeichnung eines Vertrages http://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Local_Chapters/Template_agreement mit der OSMF über den Status eine "OSMF local chapters" abstimmen. Wie bereits schon erwähnt hat die OSMF unseren Antrag dazu angenommen und wäre bereit den Vertrag mit uns zu unterzeichnen. Da wir an der GV nur begrenzt Zeit haben, wäre es von Vorteil wenn der Text schon vor der Sitzung gelesen würde und, falls möglich, allfällige Fragen dazu schon vorher hier gestellt würden. Simon

Announcement 2016 Annual General Meeting / Ankündigung 2016 Generalversammlung

Dear SOSM members As already indicated the 2016 AGM will take place in Sankt Gallen on April the 2nd, 11:00. The venue is the Hotel am Spisertor, Moosbruggstrasse 1, 9000 St. Gallen. The event will follow our proven recipe with a roughly one hour formal part starting at 11, with lunch following and a fairly unstructured mapping party as the activity in the afternoon. Guests are welcome to both parts, could however both members and guests indicate to info(a)sosm.ch if they plan to intend, particularly for lunch so that we can indicate to the restaurant how many guests they can expect. Please find the agenda for the AGM enclosed. Looking forward to seeing you in Sankt Gallen. Simon Poole Liebe SOSM Mitglieder Wie bereits angekündigt findet die 2016 Generalversammlung der SOSM am 2. April, 11:00 in Sankt Gallen statt. Die Veranstaltung findet im Hotel am Spisertor, Moosbruggstrasse 1, 9000 St. Gallen statt. Wir werden unser bewährter Ablauf beibehalten und nach einem kurzen ca. 1 stündigen formellen Teil, zu Mittag essen, und dann eine relativ unstrukturierte Mapping Party veranstalten. Gäste sind bei beiden Teilen willkommen, allerdings wäre es hilfreich wenn sowohl Mitglieder wie auch Gäste sich bei info(a)sosm.ch anmelden würden, speziell für das MIttagessen so dass wir dem Restaurant die erwartete Anzahl Gäste mitteilen können. Pre-announcement 2016 AGM - Saturday, April the 2nd 2016

Dear SOSM members As every year we will have our annual general meeting in the 1st half of the year. Our plan is to convene on Saturday, April the 2nd, most likely in Sankt Gallen. A formal announcement and invitation will follow in a couple of days, we however still need to find a suitable venue, if any of you have a suggestions could you please send it to me asap (typically we have been around 20 attendees, if you intend to come, an informal notice to me would be a good idea). Other points for the meeting that we can already pre-announce: - Pascal will be stepping down as treasurer and we will need a replacement, stepping in Pascals footsteps will be really easy given the good work he has done, and the quite positive state of our financials. If you have a minimal working knowledge of accounting please consider volunteering for the position. - As discussed at the last AGM the SOSM board submitted an application for OSMF local chapter status which in the mean time has been accepted by the OSMF board. As promised we will be holding a vote at the AGM on the matter before actually signing the agreement.
